Annual Quran Graduation
At the heart of the IANA Convention is a moment that reminds us why we gather in the first place; To honor the Qur’an and those who carry it. The Annual Qur’an Graduation Ceremony is a celebration of students who have completed their memorization of the Qur’an, surrounded by family, teachers, and community members. It’s a spiritual highlight of the weekend and a moment of pride for everyone in attendance.
This ceremony reflects the values we hold close; commitment to Islamic education, respect for our teachers and institutions, and love for the words of Allah. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of uplifting our youth and recognizing their dedication in a world full of distractions. By celebrating them publicly, we not only honor their work but inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
Each year, over 15 Islamic institutions from across the state come together to recognize their hifdh graduates in a shared space of joy, reverence, and unity. This ceremony is more than a formal acknowledgment — it’s a collective dua, a symbol of hope, and a testament to the continued legacy of Qur’anic learning in our communities.
